PureTouch Baby Water Wipes are 99% purified water on a thick, plant-based cloth — with no perfume, no alcohol and nothing your baby's skin has to work around. Safe from day one.
The formula
Ten ingredients. All of them on the label.
Most of what's on a PureTouch wipe is purified water. The rest is a short list of skin-conditioning ingredients chosen to soothe and protect — not to add scent, colour or shelf life.
If an ingredient isn't doing something for your baby's skin, it isn't in the pack.

The wipe itself
Thicker, so one is usually enough.
Wipe cloth is measured in grams per square metre. Most wipes on the shelf sit between 35 and 45. PureTouch is 60 — you feel it the moment you pull the first one out, and again when it doesn't tear halfway through a change.

Using them
Simple, and worth reading once.
How to use
Wipe your baby's skin gently, as needed. Close the lid firmly after every use so the wipes stay moist to the last one.
Storing them
Keep the pack in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. The hard lid does the rest.
Good to know
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, and stop use if any irritation appears. Please don't flush them — bin them.

Can I use these on a newborn?
Yes — they're made for it. The formula is 99% purified water with no perfume, alcohol or harsh preservatives, and it's pH balanced for newborn skin. As with any new product, if your baby has a diagnosed skin condition or is under medical care, check with your clinic sister or paediatrician first.
What does "99% purified water" actually mean?
Ninety-nine percent of the liquid in the wipe is purified water. The remaining one percent is the short list of skin-conditioning and preservation ingredients printed on the pack — nothing hidden behind a "fragrance" or "parfum" catch-all.
Are they safe for sensitive skin?
They're formulated for it: no perfume, no alcohol, no parabens and no phenoxyethanol, with aloe and oat extract to soothe. Every baby is different, so if your little one reacts easily, try one wipe on a small patch of skin first.
Can I flush them?
No. The cloth is plant-based viscose, not toilet paper — it won't break down in the system. Please bin them.
Are the wipes biodegradable?
The wipe material is made from plant-based viscose fibres rather than plastic-based synthetics. We're finalising independent testing before we make any specific biodegradability or compostability claim — we'd rather say nothing than say it early.
Where are they made?
PureTouch is a South African brand, based in Cape Town. The wipes are manufactured to our specification by a contract manufacturer in China and imported for the local market.
